Edappurath Sreenivasan has 12 years of experience in Kalarippayattu. Born in Kerala, India, he started practicing Kalarippayattu under Sri. P. K. Balan Gurukkal, at the age of 14. PKB Kalarisangham, where he was trained in one of the most famous Kalari schools in Kerala, India.

Sreenivasan started his own Kalari school in Banglore in 1997. Also a talented dancer, he has worked with different dance schools and dance troops as a teacher and a dancer. Apoorva International Dance Company, Samudra, Arthi, Srushti, Prana are some of them. He was selected by Theatre Equestre Zingaro, Paris, in 1999. He worked with them till 2003 and has performed in various cities like Paris, Athens, Moscow, Los Angeles, Brussels, Barcelona, Amsterdam etc. Now Sreenivasan has started his own Kalari school in Paris and has been giving extensive courses in Kalarippayattu.
